Arm has just released a case study featuring Synthara’s ComputeRAM, highlighting our participation in the Arm Flexible Access for Startups program.
Having zero-cost access to Arm’s proven and extensive IP ecosystem and its world-class support infrastructure has significantly enhanced and sped up ComputeRAM’s development and benchmarking efforts, reducing costs and de-risking the entire process. You can find an example of Arm and Synthara’s collaboration in our matrix-vector multiplications article. Here, we discuss how an Arm Cortex-M0 with ComputeRAM is over 100x faster and more energy efficient than a similar system with conventional SRAM, providing a flexible, cost-effective solution for edge applications without requiring dedicated AI or DSP accelerators.
Our partnership with Arm has helped us validate ComputeRAM’s capabilities in real-world applications and ensure seamless integration with existing Arm-based embedded platforms. We look forward to continuing our collaboration to bring in-memory computing to scale, unlocking new opportunities for chip and device makers, and revolutionizing sectors ranging from real-time personalized wearable devices to autonomous robots and intelligent sensor networks.
